I love this swing, though it is my first, so I am no expert. The color is beautiful and looks nice with my sky blue house. The canopy adjusts easily, I move it a few times a day for the sun, and the stars. Three people can sit side by side. The little pillows attach very securely with velcro to the frame, and have not blown away in Wyoming wind. They are a bit small though and slip under the arm when you are trying to use them, a full sized pillow is much more comfortable on it. When it rains the seat dries very quickly. It is comfortable to sit and lie down on, and it lays flat easily too. Two can lie on it fairly comfortably. I have slept out there happily. It is light enough for me to move on my own, if I drag one side then the other. It does squeak a bit when I rock more than gently, though I haven't tried greasing it.
I put it together on my own, at night with the porch light, and it was ok, though a second person and more light would probably be a good idea. (I was just too excited.) The directions are clear, with only a couple of spots where something can be backwards and need flipped around, but you will notice a couple of steps later, lol. This swing needs to be on level ground or the seat will list over to the frame and scrape against it. The rocking motion is easy to start, and soothes well. |

| Very unhappy with this purchase and the company that is selling it. I had to purchase more screws to put the swing together and pay 90.00 shipping which I thought would be free since that is what they advertised on their web site. I will do research before I purchase anything else because you do not always get the best deal purchasing thru Amazon. I am not happy with the customer service I received. |

| My husband purchased this swing for me for an early Christmas present. Once we received the box and started sorting through the hundreds of nuts and bolts it was apparent that the illustrations of the items did not match the nuts and bolts so sorting was difficult. We did our best and started the tedious job of putting it together only to find out the 4 bolts that hold the a-frame together were not long enough to attach the nuts to them! So after a trip to the hardware store and $15.00 later we had the right sized bolts. Then, once we started putting the seat/swing part together we realized there were not enough bolts and washers and nuts to assemble both sides of the seat. The assembly instructions were very difficult to understand. Needless to say we took it back apart and are sending this item back to the seller. I do not recommend purchasing this item. |
More Cheap Chinese garbage

| The only thing worse than the swing is the company selling it. Was your box missing parts? Of course it was - no way it was shipped with all the necessary hardware. Try to call the "sales and marketing" company that basically is a one man show They wont pick up the phone or return your messages, so either go to home depot and create your own hardware or have UPS come pick up the box and open a credit card dispute. When buying cheap chinese furniture - only deal with mass retailers like Walmart, Target or Sears because they will back up the junk they sell. Even better, if we still made anything here in the US - buy it from a US maufacturer with employees that know how to count when loading boxes.... |
