2 seater lounge chair
I purchased this lounge chair along with two chairs, a side table and coffee table after looking online and in catalogs at Pottery Barn, Restoration Hardware, Frontgate and Ballard Designs for a patio set. There were several reviews, most stating this set was worth purchasing. I made sure that I checked out the entire set when delivered to make sure it was well made, as a few reviewers had complained that the welding was bad, and am happy to say that my set was in great condition. The cushions are not the best quality so I highly recommend you use a fabric protector to help keep them clean. If taken care of properly, I think they will last a few seasons before needing to be replaced. Overall I am very pleased with my purchase and would recommend this set to others looking for an attractive, well made patio set in a price range that doesn't break the bank.

Great set, comfortable, and the white not as bad as I thought!
I read these reviews a million times before finally ordering the sofa, two chairs, two ottomans and the cocktail table. The white cushions held me back. I live in Pittsburgh, so we get lots of rain, and I am not the type (nor do I have the space) to bring in my cushions all the time. So, I decided that the cost was so good that I'd go for it. I did scotch guard all the pieces very well. Well, we made it through all of last summer, the set stayed very good looking and I just got done scrubbing them to put them out for this summer (yes, I should have done it when I put them away last fall but, what can I say, I didnt). They look great.

I'm not sure what other reviewers meant when they described the fabric as "peachy" -- I'd call it off-white linen. It isn't white-white, but anyone looking for a creamy off-white will be fine.

I agree, everything was delivered in such great shape. Nothing to assemble, just a lot of wrap to pull off. I find the pieces to be sturdy and in good shape. Yes, they are dark gray, not black/black -- but I have other black furniture on the same deck and it all looks fine. I am now considering the dining table too.

Finally -- if you are concerned about how the cushions would hold up, as I was, consider doing what I did. At the end of season, I found replacement strathwood faulkner cushions on sale at amazon. They offer a lot of color options and the price was really good on sale, I got a reddish stripe set, and I've got them stored away... I thought it would be for this summer because I thought the white wouldn't last -- but I guess it will be for next summer!

Doesn't last
We purchased a whole set of this furniture a year ago. It looks nice at first but is poorly made. A leg on the the couch broke on the first day. Amazon was great about a replacement but a year later the paint is falling off, the arms on two of the matching chairs cracked and the cushions look terrible. We'll have to buy a whole new set of furniture this spring and throw this junk away.

Don't even Bother!
I ordered this sofa almost 3 weeks ago and I still have not received it.
I could not tell you anything about the quality of the sofa, but I can tell you that Amazon and the shipper Ceva Logistics are both completely incompetent!
I have tried 3 times to get this sofa delivered and each time it is not delivered because the shippers can't get it right.
Each time I have called customer service I am told something different and my type of shipping has been downgraded each time I call.
I went from being told I would get white glove service and they would set it up in my apartment to being told they would drop it off at the curb and leave it there!
Be aware that if you want to return your sofa...even if they refuse to deliver it.. Amazon will charge you for return shipping and they do not refund your original shipping.
As soon as I get my sofa...if I ever do... I am closing my amazon account and never shopping here again.

Looks Good but Not Practical for washing
The furniture itself looks great and is durable however, the only reason I dared to buy bought white (actually off-white) cushions was that they claim to be machine washable. I've never been able to test this out though because the buttons sewn on each cushion don't allow for the cushion cover to be removed with out unsewing the buttons themselves! So yes, they are probably machine washable but only if you want to cut the buttons off and re-sew them together when you are finished! Not Practical!
